I have been listening to a bit of the Stone Temple Pilots and was struck by how much like Eddie Vedder the vocalist sounds. Their track "Plush" is very similar in some ways to Pearl Jam's "Evenflow". I can see how some people would mistake one band for the other, although in general STPs material is nowhere near as good as that of Pearl Jam.
